CHOO STORY
The story of Trainman Studios began in 2019, when my YouTube journey first started with trainspotting videos. From the very beginning, trains were a passion of mine, and I wanted to share that passion with others through my videos. What began as a way of recording trains and sharing my interest in the railway soon grew into something much bigger than I could ever have imagined.
One of the most important people throughout this journey has been my dad, Paul. He has supported me from the very start, encouraging me every step of the way and helping me continue doing what I love. Having him by my side has meant a great deal to me because, behind every journey, there are people who help make it possible. His support has played a significant role in the story of Trainman Studios, and I could not tell that story without mentioning him.
In the early days, trainspotting was at the heart of everything I did. I enjoyed visiting stations, watching different trains arrive and depart, and capturing those moments on camera. Every train provided an opportunity to record something interesting, and every video gave me another chance to share my love of railways with viewers. As with any new venture, there was always more to learn, and creating videos helped me develop my skills while discovering the direction I wanted the channel to take.
As time passed, both my interests and the content I wanted to create began to evolve. Rather than simply standing on platforms watching trains pass by, I wanted to experience more of the railway for myself. I wanted to travel on board, explore different routes, and show people what it was really like to ride the trains. This felt like a natural progression for the channel, allowing me to share a different side of railway travel and take viewers along for the journey.
Over the years, Trainman Studios has evolved from its trainspotting roots into a channel focused on travelling by rail. Instead of filming trains from the platform, I now get to experience the journeys themselves, from boarding at a station to watching the scenery unfold through the window. Every journey offers something different, whether that is discovering a new route, visiting somewhere I have never been before, or experiencing a train service that others may be curious about.
As Trainman Studios continued to grow, I also wanted to find new ways to reach people and build a community around the channel. YouTube has remained a central part of that journey, providing a platform to share my videos and bring my railway adventures to viewers. However, I did not want the community to be limited to YouTube alone. I wanted to explore additional platforms where people could discover Trainman Studios, keep up to date with what was happening, and become more involved in the wider community.
That is where platforms such as TikTok, Discord, Roblox and Facebook became part of the Trainman Studios story. Each platform offers a different way to connect with people, share content and provide more opportunities for involvement. TikTok allows new audiences to discover Trainman Studios through shorter videos and highlights, while Facebook provides another place to share updates and connect with viewers. Discord gives the community a dedicated space to chat, interact and meet others who enjoy being part of Trainman Studios.
Roblox has also become an important part of the wider community, creating opportunities to bring people together through gaming and shared experiences. Trainman Studios is not just about the videos I upload; it is also about building a community where people can interact, share their interests and feel part of something bigger.
Of course, running a community across multiple platforms comes with its own challenges. Each platform has its own audience, features and ways of bringing people together. Keeping everything moving forward takes time and dedication, but building a welcoming community remains an important part of what I want Trainman Studios to be. My aim is to give people more ways to follow the journey, enjoy the content and become part of the community, wherever they choose to join.
Throughout all of this, my dad, Paul, has continued to play an important role. Having his encouragement and support from the beginning has made a real difference, and I am grateful to have him alongside me throughout this journey. There is a great deal that happens behind the scenes when creating content and building a community, and the support of those closest to you can mean more than you might ever realise.
Now, in 2026, Trainman Studios is taking another exciting step forward with the launch of its very own website. Having a dedicated website creates a new home for the community, bringing another part of the Trainman Studios journey together in one place. It gives people another way to learn about the channel, discover its story and stay informed about what is happening.
The website also provides an opportunity to reflect on how far Trainman Studios has come since 2019 while looking ahead to what might be possible in the future. With YouTube, TikTok, Discord, Roblox and Facebook already forming part of the wider community, the website adds yet another place where people can connect with Trainman Studios and follow its development.
Looking back, it is remarkable to see how far things have come. What began with trainspotting videos has grown into a journey that includes travelling by train, exploring railway routes, creating content across multiple platforms and building a thriving community around Trainman Studios. It has become about much more than simply recording trains; it is about sharing experiences, connecting with like-minded people and creating something that viewers can genuinely be part of.
None of this would mean as much without the people who have supported the journey along the way. To everyone who has watched my videos, followed me on social media, joined the Discord community, taken part in the Roblox experience, followed the Facebook page or visited this website, thank you for being part of Trainman Studios. Every person who takes the time to support the channel and its community helps make the journey worthwhile.
And, of course, a special thank you goes to my dad, Paul, for helping and supporting me from the very beginning. He has been part of this journey since those early trainspotting days, and I would not want the story of Trainman Studios to overlook the role he has played in making it possible.
Looking to the future, there is still so much I want to explore. There are more trains to ride, more destinations to visit, more videos to create and more ideas to bring to life. I also want to continue developing the Trainman Studios community, making the most of the different platforms and finding new ways for people to get involved.
I cannot say exactly what the future will bring, but that is part of the excitement. There may be new projects, new opportunities and new ways to connect with the people who follow Trainman Studios. Whatever happens, I want to keep learning, improving and building upon everything that has come before.
The most exciting thing is that the story of Trainman Studios is still being written. From those first trainspotting videos in 2019 to travelling across the railway network today, and from a simple YouTube channel to a wider community spanning YouTube, TikTok, Discord, Roblox, Facebook and now this website, the journey continues to grow and evolve.
Every platform represents another opportunity to share what I do, connect with people and bring the Trainman Studios community closer together. There is still much to achieve, and I am excited to see where the next chapter takes us.
